In November 2013 we received an email from the British Museum of Folklore saying  that they had launched an initiative for the  next year to get morris sides to dress in their kit a small doll which they would provide and then keep for posterity. We agreed that we would like to do this so we replied and sat back and waited.

Nothing happened until January 2015 when a large brown box arrived containing a rag doll about 50cm tall with large hands and feet, no hair and no bust!  Over the next months, the doll was passed around various members of the side  and gradually acquired a full complement of clothing and decoration until, by December 2015, she was complete.
